Back in 2016, Fifth-Third Field and the Toledo Mud Hens were preparing for a new generation of Minor League Baseball fun and entertainment. During this time, there was a revitalization happening in downtown Toledo, Ohio with major firms moving corporate offices, and a more of a community focus on preserving our unique downtown experience. The concept of Hensville fell into this same sentiment and was a way to keep fans downtown and entertained before, after, and during sporting events. The concept of Hensville overlooking the field was brilliant and provided a perfect view of the Toledo Mud Hens stadium, well, except for that giant scoreboard…. Here’s where Dunbar comes into the story.

Dunbar Inc. was selected to support the removal of the large scoreboard that blocked the view from Hensville. Watch this timelapse video to see our team working to take the large scoreboard down to make room for that great view!

Dunbar has extensive experience serving the needs of the community in various ways, including erecting and deconstructing structural steel, as you can see in the video!
