Dunbar Inc. is currently serving as the general contractor for Transflo’s industrial and transportation project, which commenced in May 2024 and is expected to be completed by December 2024. This $1.2 million design-build project involves constructing a boiler building, with Dunbar handling the design and engineering aspects.

We subcontracted the foundation, steel, and building shell to specialized contractors. Additionally, an electrician, insulator, and water treatment company are working under our management to ensure all aspects of the facility’s infrastructure are built to the highest standards. Dunbar will take on the critical task of installing the new boiler system and fabricating all associated piping.

Key challenges include managing long equipment lead times and maintaining safe operations while working near active train tracks. Despite these complexities, the project remains on schedule, thanks to strategic planning and coordination with our subcontractors.
