Medical Gas

Dunbar Inc. is the leader in medical gas systems in northwest Ohio.

Since the early 1990s, Dunbar has performed more than $300 million in mechanical healthcare projects. Most of this work is for repeat customers who are pleased with the quality of Dunbar’s work and our competitive costs. This includes both new medical gas systems and modified medical gas systems in more than 15 different facilities throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. All of these medical gas systems have been implemented with no delays and no certification or permitting problems.

All medical gas systems in the State of Ohio must meet the NFPA 99C 2002 edition standards. The State of Ohio requires multi-stage inspection of all medical gas systems which involves extra time and additional documentation as well as certification by the American Society of Sanitary Engineers for all installers.

Dunbar Inc. exceeds the criteria required by the State for medical gas system installations. Our ISO certified process assures we fully follow the necessary procedures and requirements on every medical gas system project. All Medical Gas Installers are certified through the NITC (National Inspection Testing Certification).

Dunbar Inc. has implemented a step-by-step process for use by our healthcare project managers and field force to assure a safe and efficient medical gas system installation as well as a timely inspection and approval. This process is consistent with our ISO 9001:2015 certification to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Dunbar has over 20 mechanics certified under the updated procedure with additional mechanics in the certification process. We believe this is more than all other northwest Ohio installers combined.

We use a flexible approach, tailored to customer needs.
